Female Sports Performance & Injury Prevention Program

Did you know that there are over 30,000 high school and college females that will injure their knees each year in the United States? In fact, these injuries are occurring at an alarming rate of 2-8 times more often than males participating in the same sports. Neuromuscular training programs have shown to reduce the risk of serious knee injuries by as much as 72% compared to untrained females. Additionally, these programs can help improve sports performance.

  • Benefits of a Neuromuscular training program include:
  • Improve muscular flexibility in the trunk, hips and legs
  • Improve strength, power, and agility to the lower extremities
  • Improve posture and body alignment throughout the jumping motion
  • Improve control and motion of the lower extremities during deceleration of running, cutting, and pivoting movements
  • Improve total body control and balance with functional sports movements
  • Improve trunk strength and stability
  • Improve sports performance, skill level, and function
  • Help decrease the risk of potential catastrophic injury to the knee(s)

You will receive:  Pre and post testing of functional sports activities and movements Video analysis of jumping mechanics KT-1000 knee ligament laxity testing and general joint laxity testing Education and instruction of proper jumping mechanics Weight lifting and exercise instruction designed specifically for females
