Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT)

Vestibular Rehabilitation Therapy (VRT)

Vestibular dysfunctions involve the inner ear and can affect your balance, posture, and produce severe vertigo and dizziness. VRT can help restore your function and resolve your vestibular symptoms. Specific dysfunctions that can benefit from VRT by a licensed physical therapist include Benign Paroxymal Positional Vertigo, Vestibular Labyrinthitis, acute or chronic bilateral/unilateral dysfunctions, and motion sensitivity. Your physical therapist will work closely with your doctor to identify and treat your vestibular dysfunction.
